Dog-Friendly Hotel Kennebunkport

Bring your furry friend along to the Yachtsman, one of the most comfortable dog-friendly hotels in Kennebunkport. We provide everything your furry family members need, from pet-friendly bungalows to home-like comforts, so they can be as relaxed as you. Every tail-wagger on our property helps support the local Animal Welfare Society, so leash up and enjoy the short walk to town and everything else Kennebunkport has to offer.

Fido-Friendly Details

We can’t wait to welcome your four-legged friend to our select, pet-friendly rooms. Our nightly pet fee of $50 (up to two dogs) includes a goodie bag with food and water bowls, bark-worthy treats, and handy waste bags to ensure they have a comfortable stay. We’re also proud to support West Kennebunk’s Animal Welfare Society by contributing $2 of your nightly pet fee to aid our local friends with paws.

The Fine (Paw) Print

  • There are only two dog-friendly Harborfront Bungalows.
  • The fee of $50 per night is applied in addition to the cost of your room. (Up to two dogs.)
  • $2 of each fee will be donated to the Animal Welfare Society in West Kennebunk.
  • At this time, we are only accepting dogs; please no cats, mini-ponies, or iguanas.
  • Limit two dogs per room up to 40 pounds.
  • Dogs are not allowed in any of the hotel’s interior common areas or on the S.S. Sundaze.
  • Dogs can not be left in hotel rooms unattended.
  • Please keep your dog(s) on a leash at all times when exploring the hotel grounds.
  • Housekeeping services for rooms with dogs require advance scheduling through our front desk.

Dog owners will be responsible for their canine companions and for any excessive damage they may cause. You will be required to sign a pet waiver upon check-in verifying that your dog is up-to-date on their vaccines. Failure to abide by the above rules will result in an early departure with full payment. Please call us with any questions!
